Which Owyhee County district am I voting for?
Both! District 1 and District 3 are on the ballot. You can determine which district you're in by going to the commissioners webpage on the Owyhee County website and there is a map of the districts. You can also view more detail under gis parcel maps located on the assessor's page.
BUT it is so important to know all of your Owyhee County Commissioners, not just your district. There are three Commissioners in every county in Idaho. Those three Commissioners oversee the many operations in their county. They approve budgets and help create codes and ordinances. These things are approved by a vote between the Commissioners. That is why it is so important to get to know all three Commissioners, and make an educated decision on who you think will best represent Owyhee County as a whole, not just a district!
